Gladys Marie (Clevenger) Routh, age 91, of Duke, Missouri went home to be with Jesus on Monday, September 21, 2015. Gladys was born in Knoxville, Illinois to Mattie Neoma (Young) Clevenger and Lewis Elija Clevenger on April 27, 1924. Gladys married Alvis Clarence (Pete) Routh on April 5, 1947. She was preceded in death by husband and parents, 3 children, Don, Carol, and Bob 1 sister, Vadna Katie Ramsey and 3 brothers, Warren, Winfred, and Vernice. Gladys is survived by 5 children, Gerald Routh and Chris of Hinesville GA, Gary Routh of Licking, Neoma Hangsleben of Republic, Bradley Routh and Sandy of Duke, and Phillip Routh of Duke,1 daughter-in-law, Marie Routh of Huntsville, AL; 1 sister, Bernice Morrison of Salem MO; 1 brother, Amos Dwight Clevenger of Illinois; 2 brothers-in-law, Ed Ramsey of Texas and Waldo Howard of Colorado; 21 grandchildren and a host of great and great- great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. Gladys faithfully attended her church at the Community Lighthouse, of Duke Mo, Her church and church family meant alot to her, she loved Gospel singings, and cooking her famous pies for all to enjoy. Gladys enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking, and never passed a yard sale. Gladys loved her children and family, and everyone she met.
