Obituary of Christen Brotherton

Christen Brotherton, age 44, daughter of Willard Earl and Evelyn Virginia (nee Campbell) Jones Wylie was born July 28, 1970 in Houston, MO. She passed away May 10, 2015 at Texas County Memorial Hospital, Houston, MO. She was preceded in death by her father, Willard Jones, in 1975, and her son, Ryan Jones, in 2006. She is survived by two daughters, Cassandra Ann Boyle of Houston, MO, and LaShae Nicole Brotherton (fiancé, Wesley Mackeben) of Springfield, MO; a son Blythe Brotherton of Houston, MO; two sisters, Cindy and husband Jim Halluin, of Beckemeyer, IL; Sherry Jones of Licking, MO and five grandchildren; Kyrian, Kaysen, Raylen, Aibley and Abigail and life-long friend Bruce Willis. Chris enjoyed spending time with friends and family, days on the river, playing with her grandkids, and all the beauty nature had to offer. She was a colorful person that always had something to talk about. Her family meant the world to her and was the most important thing in her life. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them. She will be deeply missed and greatly loved by all that knew her.
