Jerald Kirkman Obituary

Jerald C. Kirkman, born to the late Arch and Myrtle (Davis) Kirkman, June 9, 1929 on Ashley Creek, Missouri and departed this life April 19, 2015 at Oakville, Missouri.

He was united in marriage to Betty Scott and celebrated 66 wonderful years together. He worked over 30 years for Champion Hoist Co., St. Louis, Missouri and retired from EMMPCO, East Moline, Illinois as senior vice president of international sales. He was a member of South County Baptist Church and was a man of faith and loving devotion to his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clark (Alene), Ray and Don Kirkman; sister, Marie (Tony) Buttice and his beloved grandson, Nathan Kirkman; sister-in-law, Cleo Wells and brothers-in-law, Dean Scott, Gerald Wells and Glen Scott.

Jerald is survived by his loving wife, Betty; children, Kay Kirkman-Diven, Gary (Beverly) and Eric (Susan) Kirkman; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Susie Kirkman, Doris Lay, Wanda Scott and June (Gerald) Marion; brothers-in-law, Gene Scott (Rosalie)and Duane Scott ( Sally) as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
