Brenda Kay (Cook) Sullins, daughter of George Cook and Betty Heath, was born on October 13, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri. She passed away on January 8, 2025, at the Kabul Nursing Home in Cabool, Missouri at the age of 78. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents; mother and father-in-law, Lorene and Raymond Sullins; one half-sister, Georgia Cook; sister-in-law, Myrtle Mae Buckner; and brothers-in-law, Bill Dixon and Manuel Buckner. Brenda is survived by her husband, Quie Sullins; sister, Linda Dixon of Jefferson City, Missouri; half-sister, Virginia Michelle of Festus, Missouri; two half-brothers, Jimmy Dale Turner of Florida and Chucky Cook of St. Louis, Missouri; five sisters-in-law, Martha Sullins, of Licking, Missouri, Evaline Buckner and husband George of Licking, Missouri, Shirley Young and husband Jerry of De Soto, Missouri, Ida Faye Medley and husband Terry of Licking, Missouri, and Polly Jane Richardson, of Licking, Missouri; three brothers-in-law, Joseph Ben Sullins and wife Carla of Licking, Missouri, Bobby Dean Sullins and wife Mary of Licking, Missouri, and Jimmy Paul Sullins of Virginia; as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Brenda married her husband, Quie, on August 31, 1963, in Licking, Missouri. They moved to St. Louis, Missouri where they lived in Arnold, Missouri for 54 years. Brenda loved the Lord, and she loved being a part of the Church of God in Webster Groves. Brenda loved babysitting children, sewing, and drawing, but most of all, she loved being with Quie. A private service for family will take place at a later date.
