Paul Wayne Hazel, 74, of Lynchburg, Missouri passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at his home.
He was born at home, June 4, 1940 at Nebo, Missouri to Granville and Lora Hazel.
On June 8, 1963 he married Shirley JoAnn Williams, who preceded him in death on May 16, 2005.
Paul is survived by a “special” son, Jerry Hazel and a “special” grandson, Jeremy Hazel; also surviving are two sisters, Norma Breeden and Caroline DeGraw of Lebanon, Missouri; three brothers, Roland Hazel and wife, Vickie, Rick Hazel and wife, Sheila of Lebanon, Missouri and Larry Hazel and wife, Jackie of Independence, Missouri; brother and sisters-in-law, Leon and Sharon Williams of Bucyrus, Missouri, Virginia Hildebrand of Plato, Missouri, and Bill and Wilma Cook of Licking, Missouri; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Paul professed his faith in Christ and was baptized at an early age.
Paul loved the simple life, the peace and quiet of country living. He was at his happiest spending time with his family, hunting and fishing. He loved doing anything outdoors. Paul was a very special person to many. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
