Jenny and I first met when she had my kids in school. I then started babysitting for her. I nicknamed Nick- Nicholas nickelby and Samantha Sam. I loved Jenny. She was an excellent teacher, mother and most of all a very special treasured friend. Jenny and I used to get together and bake Christmas cookies and desserts! I loved talking and laughing with Jenny. She was a very special person. I loved visiting with her and loved it when she used to come visit with me. We could always pick right back up like we hadn’t seen one another in a while. The kids have always been special to me. I loved Jenny’s house and always enjoyed talking to Donnie and hearing stories. I knew several of the family members and would ask Jenny about them and she would keep me posted! I will truly miss her laughter, her voice and her friendship. I am glad she isn’t suffering but we lost one special lady when we lost her. I have so many beautiful memories to treasure till we meet again my friend.

Mrs. Maples was one of the best teachers I ever had. She treated me with kindness when I know I wasn’t one of the easiest students. She saw potential in me when others did not. I truly believe I owe my becoming successful in school to her. I’m so sorry for the loss of such an amazing person. The community and her family lost an extraordinary person way too soon.

Jenny is one of the few people I met that I felt I had known forever. I couldn't have asked for a better friend.
I had the privilege of working with her at school and math club. Everything was easy when we worked together. Jenny is one of the most intelligent, kind, caring people I know. We enjoyed many activities together and spent hours just talking.
I see her smile, sparkling eyes and hear her voice. Part of her will always be with me as I am sure is true of anyone who had the honor of knowing her.

I have loved sharing grandchildren with Jenny. The kids would laugh about going back and forth and back and forth. Jenny was an awesome Grammy. We took Addelyn and Nora (one of my other granddaughters) to the magic house together and truly had a wonderful day. We also went to the zoo and STL museum and other places with Nick and Dani. Jenny loved her family and I’m so happy she was there for my daughter and grands. She will be missed by all and definitely made an impact on all.

A rare gem of a lady, my hiking and creek floating buddy for 15 years-highly intelligent and accomplished-a goal setter and achiever. She was totally unselfish and actively generous. Only God knows the extent of her influence. My heart is glad to have shared a bit of life with her, but oh so crushed to say good-bye. Always cherished-never forgotten.
