Neaomi Ruth McCall Blair passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 7, 2024 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri with family by her side. She was born on September 5, 1938 to the late Eugene and Netta (Britton) McCall in Desoto, MO. Neaomi Ruth McCall Blair was married to the late Reverend Elisha D. Blair on December 7, 1968. She supported her husband’s ministry work at Gospel Assembly Church in Duke, Missouri for 26 years. She is survived by her son, James “Mike” (Jeanie) White of Perryville, MO; daughters, Rhonda (Leon) Peebles of Marquand, MO; Sharon (James) Walls of Springfield, MO; Brenda (Kenny) Walsh of St. Louis, MO; two daughters-in-law, Sherry (Elisha Dean) Blair of High Ridge, MO; and Sandy (Luther) Blair of Salem, MO; sister, Juanita (Lacy) Whayne of St. Louis, MO; brother, Eugene McCall of Kentucky; as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, church family, and other relatives and friends. Neaomi is preceded in death by five sons, Elisha Dean Blair of High Ridge, MO; Luther Blair of Salem, MO; Billy Blair of Honduras; Carl Blair of Salem, MO; and Erwin Carter Douglas; two sons-in-law, Ross Vollmar and Danny Brotherton; one grandson, Michael Blair; her parents; and two sisters. Neaomi loved to “pound” hymnals out on the piano, loved gospel music, enjoyed nature’s beauty, having family and friends come to visit, and most importantly worshiping God and being thankful for all that He provided for her and her loved ones throughout her life. A visitation for Neaomi will take place Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Community Lighthouse Church in Duke, MO. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM at the Community Lighthouse Church. Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery.
