Betty Jean Dunlap departed this life on July 1st, 2024 after a short stay in the nursing home. Betty was a devoted mother and friend. She enjoyed spending time with both family and friends. She had a lifelong love of anything involving flowers and floral design. Betty owned her own florist shop for a time named “Designs by Dunlap”. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church and was strong in her faith. Betty was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mae and Herbert Parker; brother, Louis Parker; and her beloved husband, Lewis Dunlap. Betty is survived by her brother, Don Parker and wife Nancy of Victoria, TX; two sons, Keith and wife Patsy of Black, MO, and Kevin and wife Melissa of Rolla, MO; nine grandchildren, Justin, Jason, Scott, Stephanie, Rusty, Shelby, Paula, Katrina, and Cassidy; and fifteen great-grandchildren, Maxton, Vivian, Elliot, Adam, Cademon, Arela, Grayson, Brantley, Carson, Cade, Callie, Kinsey, Kara, Willow, Alex, and Mark; and one great great-grandchild, Brody. Betty is also survived by her sister-in-law, Shirley Parker; two nieces, Linda Garich and Michelle Davis; and two nephews, Chuck and Eric Dunlap; as well as a host of friends and other family. Betty will be sorely missed by friends and family alike. Rest In Peace Moma!! A visitation for Betty will take place Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Fox Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM at Fox Funeral Home.
