Sharon “Sherri” Clough, age 77, of Licking, MO passed away peacefully on January 14, 2024, in Houston, MO. Sherri was born on August 5, 1946, in Bryn Mawr, PA to the late Russell and Eula (Hay) Canning. Sherri was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, John; infant brother; infant daughter, Marianne; and infant granddaughter, Felicia. Sherri is survived by her children, Traci (Robert) Enfield of Raymondville, MO and Wendi (David “Chopper”) Pardee of Hacks Point, MD; four brothers, Russell Canning of FL, Thomas (Doris) Canning of PA, David (Linda) Canning of MD, and Elliott of FL; grandchildren, David Pardee, Whitnie Shepherd, R.J. Enfield, Alex Enfield, Michaela Tepper, Christian Pardee, Tanner Enfield, Layla Pardee, and Colson Enfield; and 13 great grandchildren, Kinzlie, Baylor, Zaylie, Gabriella, Alyvia, Briar, Raeklynn, Amelia, Josephine, Kutter, Landon, Kensleigh, and Aspen. Sherri loved spending time with family, taking day trips to Ocean City, MD, Alley Springs, MO, and just getting away for the day, playing games on her phone, helping with the kid’s school projects, crafts of all varieties, and eating out at her favorite restaurants, Golden Corral, Popeyes, and Pizza Inn. Sherri’s door was always open, and she was prepared to cook a meal at any time. She loved to give her opinion if it was wanted or not. Sherri volunteered at Cecilton Elementary School for many years. Sherri will be greatly missed by her family and friends that knew her.
