Ed Walden Obituary

Floyd “Ed” Edward Walden was born February 5, 1961, in San Pedro, California and passed away June 8, 2023, in Licking, Missouri. He was the son of the late Wilma Jeane (Pennock) Johnson of Licking and Floyd “Duke” Lindsay Walden of Montana.

Ed loved his friends and family. He spent years truck driving, landscaping, and working in construction, but his biggest passion was music. He was a self-taught guitar player since middle school. At times he was a one-man band and has been involved with multiple bands, most recently Moonshine Express.

Ed is survived by his sons, Hunter and Jacob of California; sisters, Loretta “Lori” (Walden) Stark of Tennessee, Teresa (Johnson) Edgar of Edgar Springs, Missouri, Lisa (Johnson) Greear of Summersville, Missouri, Tina (Johnson) Griem of Kansas, and Renee (Johnson) Keaton of Licking, Missouri.

Final arrangements for Ed will be announced at a later date.
