Although Tom had no children of his own he was a father to many. Tom was a giving man who devoted his life to helping others. Many may not know about the financial blessings he bestowed upon others. He gave so very much of himself personally as well.
He was a faithful member and held various offices of the Licking VFW Post 6337 and Licking American Legion Post 559, as well as the Disabled American Veterans. He most recently was serving as Quarter-Master of Licking VFW Post 6337 for the last six years.
Tom was known for spending countless hours at VFW ensuring that every "i" was dotted and every “t" was crossed. There wasn't anything that took place that he didn't know about. He remained faithful to VFW, American Legion, and DAV to the end. His was a permanent fixture on Friday nights at Licking VFW for Bingo. Tom leaves to mourn his passing his brothers and sisters at Licking VFW Post 6337 and Licking American Legion Post 559.
He was a great man! All those who had the opportunity to meet and know Tom are better because of him! He will be sadly missed by all.
