Gerda is finally at rest with her beloved Clancey, but my heart is sad at the lose of such a wonderful giving person as the spunky little 93y/o German lady I called Omi "grandmother in German" She was not my grandmother but the great grandmother to three of my grandchildren and a dear friend to me for the 15 years I was part of her life. My son and grandbabies were loved and blessed by her in their time of need when relocating here to Missouri. I can't find words to express my gratitude for her love, support, advice and daily contribution into the lives of my son and her great grandchildren. She helped them in getting established here in Missouri and was a constant influence in their lives. She spent holidays and birthdays and wonderful local day trips with her grands that has given us all memories to hold onto as we remember her always. What a blessing to have know your great Grandmother so closely and to have her in your daily life. I was honored to call her friend. She will be greatly missed.
