Obituary of Betty Jane Castor

Betty Jane Castor went to her heavenly home on Saturday, November 14, 2020. Like the Apostle Paul she fought the good fight, finished her course, and kept the faith and now she is being rewarded in Heaven. Betty was born on December 9, 1935, in Denver, Colorado, to Clayton Eugene Robb and Mildred Winnifred (Tice) Robb. She was married to William “Bill” Joseph Castor on Thanksgiving Day 1966. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son David Eugene Castor, and her grandson Christopher Morris. She is survived by her daughters Dianna Morris and husband Richard of Tahlequah, OK; Barbara Grier and husband Brian of Joplin, MO; Sandy Robertson and husband Terry of Licking, MO, sister-in-law Janet Huskey of Santa Clarita, CA, and her grandchildren Kevin Morris, Jennifer Horka (Rich), John Coy, Joseph Coy, Janel Coy, Scott Robertson (Sarah), Bradley Robertson (Liz), Andrew Robertson (Mindy), Shannity, Cyril, and Isaac along with nine great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Fifty years ago, Betty accepted Jesus as the Lord of her life. Through faith and an ever-deepening relationship with her Lord, Betty was able to survive many illnesses and injuries all while serving the God she loved. She never tired learning scripture and prayed that all her family will join her one day in heaven. A funeral service for Betty will be held Friday, November 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Rock Springs Baptist Church in Licking, Missouri with Pastor John Jordan officiating. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery.
