Mary Maxine (Tibbs) Edwards peacefully left this earth Nov. 1st, 2020 at the age of 93. She was born in Menard County, Illinois on Oct. 27, 1927, one of six children. In 1945 she married Lawrence “Slim” Edwards. They moved to Licking for jobs at Rawlings, where she worked for 35 years, mainly as cutter. They built their home and lived off the land fishing, hunting, and gardening. She enjoyed their friends thru horseshoe pitching, baking, sewing, quilting, and helping others. Maxine raised 3 children, had 7 grandchildren, and many great grandkids. She was preceded in death by son, Dale, beloved husband, Slim, and most siblings.
