Thomas L. Taylor “Tom”, 76, of Licking, MO, died Saturday, August 29, 2020. He was born September 8, 1943 in Licking, MO to Sherman “Roy” and Helen Taylor. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Helen Taylor; brothers, Lonnie and Judy Taylor, David and Mary Ann Taylor, and Teddy Taylor. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marlene (Marsh) Taylor; daughter, Rhonda Reed and husband Brad; sons Rod Taylor and wife Chrissy, Derek Taylor and wife Brooke, and Devin Taylor and wife Michelle. Grandchildren, Tonya Teems, J.T. Taylor, Parker Reed, Braydon Taylor, and Hudson Taylor; brothers, Alvin Taylor and wife Glenna, Jim Taylor and wife Donna, and Roy Taylor and wife Connie, and great-grandkids. He was a deacon of Abounding Hope Church in Licking, MO. He always had a lap full of kids and a pocket full of candy. Tom was loved by many, many people of the community. Tom drove a semi-truck for 43 years and upon retirement he was a bus driver and janitor with the Licking School District. He was also a beloved babysitter helper to Mimi. A graveside service will be held Friday, September 4, 2020 at 1: OO PM at Williams Cemetery, Licking, MO.
