Obituary of Wilda Irene Sellers Lane

Please share a memory of Wilda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Wilda Irene Lane went home to be with Jesus peacefully at home after spending her last week surrounded by all her family on May 14th, 2020. Wilda was born on January 30, 1947 to James (Big Jim) and Bessie Sullins. She attended Craddock School near Slabtown where she graduated 8th grade. She married Glenn O. Sellers Jr. on December 19, 1964. They had four daughters, Glenda Beth, Dana, Dora and Rebecca. Wilda stayed at home and raised her daughters and taught them what a caring, compassionate, and loving mother is like. Her children and grandchildren were her whole world. If there was ever a time that we did not know where she was, all we had to do was find the little kids and that is where we would find her. Wilda is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Sellers of twenty years; her second husband, Richard Lane; parents, Jim and Bessie Sullins; brothers, Thomas Jewel Sullins, William (Buddy) Sullins, and James Sullins; sisters, Viola Holt, Beulah Sullins, Wilma Smith, Frances Shrout, and Violet Grady. Her surviving family includes daughters; Glenda Beth Sellers and friend Paul Jeffries of Licking, Dana Jones and husband Eric of Licking, Dora Gage and husband Rusty of Harbor Springs, Michigan, and Rebecca Tatroe and husband Nathan of Licking, Missouri; one brother, Vernon Sullins and wife Beverly. She had nine grandchildren who loved her very much, Erica Jones, Casey Jones, Samantha Jones, Jennie Gage, Daniel Gage, Samuel Gage, Bethany Tatroe, Rylie Tatroe, Kalyn Tatroe, and two great-grandchildren, Sophia Jaramillo, and Wade Buckner. There was nothing Wilda loved more than being with her family and was happiest when she has a baby in her arms. She rededicated her life while attending Happy Hollow Full Gospel Mission in Edgar Springs. Wilda left this world with a tear in her eye because we know Jesus has her by one hand and her children had the other. She was being torn to choose whether to stay or to go. After fighting for the past few years, she finally let go and let Jesus walk her into Paradise, into the beautiful gates of Heaven where sha can smell the lilacs for eternity. We will never go a minute without missing her, but we know she has a new body now. And the next time we see her, she will come running to us with open arms.
