Steven Alan Matchell was born May 3, 1956, in Salem, MO, to George Matchell and Elsie (Beck) Matchell. He passed away on April 19, 2020 at his home.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Angie Matchell.
Steve is survived by two brothers, George and Mike; three sisters, Diane Vestal and husband Lewis, Linda West, and Becky Garrett; daughter Sherry James, son-in-law Dustin, and five grandchildren, Dalton, Delilah, Delanie, Delivia, and Daxton James.
Steve was a hard-working, compassionate man. He retired 3 years ago and spent his days fishing and spoiling his grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
An outdoor service will be held on May 3, 2020 at his home.
