Obituary of Pearl May Blasingame

Pearl May (Connell) Pursifull Blasingame was born in Taft, CA on May 28, 1926 to Clem and Annabelle (Youngblood) Connell.  She passed away November 20, 2019.

Her family moved to Licking in 1930.  She attended the Licking schools.  She accepted Christ as her Savior in her early teens.

Pearl married Roger Pursifull in 1947.  They moved to Fenton, MO in 1960.  In 1972 she married Gene Blasingame.  After his death in 1995, she moved back to Licking in 2000 for her final years among good friends and memories.  She was a member of Boone Creek Baptist Church.  She loved to sing, her quilting club, and visiting with friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; brother, George Connell; sister, Delia Marie (Connell) Linen.

She is survived by two sons, Barry Lee Pursifull and wife, Mary and Ross Alan Pursifull; 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Pearl will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Boone Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Carrigan officiating.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.  Interment will follow at Boone Creek Cemetery with Bobby Pursifull, Darren Pursifull, Ryan Pursifull, Jeremy Pursifull, Gary Pursifull, Kevin Jackson, and Tim Jackson as pallbearers.  Arrangements entrusted to Fox Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be left at www.foxfh.net.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Pearl’s name may be made to Boone Creek Baptist Church or Boone Creek Cemetery.
