Obituary of Frank Delbert Steward
Frank Delbert Steward, 77, passed peacefully from life Oct. 26, 2019 in Phelps Co. Hospital. Frank was born in Anutt, MO Oct. 8th, 1942 to Delbert and Elba Roberts Steward. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Nettie and late wife, Sue Mitchell Steward.
He leaves behind, wife Janice of Licking; two sons, Rodney of Perrysburg, Ohio, Frank David and wife Michelle of Hudson, Wisconsin; Three Stepdaughters, Jaquetta Noakes and husband Jeff of Salem, Rebecca Clements of Salem, Janette Norman and husband Cliff of Colorado; 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and brother, Donal Steward and wife Lura of Wentzville.
Frank worked as an Insurance Adjuster for many years and retired to enjoy camping and traveling with Janice as long as health permitted. He was an avid outdoorsman all his life, even going to Africa on Safari. He was a hard worker who took pride in anything he was responsible for, serving on the Licking School Board and as a member of the Board of Directors of Intercounty Electric. Frank was a Mason and Shriner. He contributed many hours to the building of the Methodist Church Fellowship Hall and the new Senior Center. His presence was large for he was liked and respected by all who knew him.
Visitation will be on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 10 a.m.-12 p.m., a Masonic service honoring Frank will be held at 10:30 a.m. with a final service at 12 p.m. with Pastor Wayne Carrigan. Visitation and both services are to be held at the Fox Funeral Home, 128 S. Main St, Licking. Interment will follow at the Licking Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Frank’s name may be made to the Licking Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Fox Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.foxfh.net.
