Obituary of Lela Elinor Wolf

Lela E. Wolf of Licking, Missouri passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Hickory Manor. She was born to Otto and Gertrude (Goers) Braasch on June 14, 1931. She married Arnold W. Wolf on June 26, 1955 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Altamont, Illinois. Lela is survived by sons, David of Bunker Hill, Illinois, Kevin of Licking, Missouri; two daughters, Jodi Hill and Daniel of Duke, Missouri, Liza Wolf of Licking, Missouri; four grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter; brother-in-law, Kenneth and sister-in-law, Ruth Wolf of Neoga, Illinois; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Preceding in death are her parents, husband, one brother, Bernard; sister-in-law, Doris, brother-in-law, Herman Wolf, nephew, Phillip Braasch, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Lela worked numerous jobs, such as a greenhouse and factory in Illinois, H.D. Lee factory in Houston, Missouri and a tree nursery in Licking. She enjoyed reading, going to yard sales, thrift stores, and traveling to see family and friends. She enjoyed going fishing.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 6-8 PM at Fox Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday, June 3, 2019 at 10 AM in the Fox Chapel. Interment will follow in Licking Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ron Wallace, Charlie Welch, Grant Heithold, and Ian Wolf. Memorials can be made to Three Rivers Hospice or Hickory Manor in Licking, Missouri.
