Obituary of Ina Mae (Cavaness) Hodge

Ina Mae Cavaness Hodge, 69, of Rolla, Missouri passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019, at her residence.

Ina was born in Licking, Missouri on November 26, 1949, to Roy and Pauline (Vaughn) Cavaness.  Ina was united in marriage to Eddie Howard and of that married two sons were born- Rusty and Ronnie Howard.

Ina was a homemaker, beautician, and home health care aide.  She had several hobbies, such as horseback riding, sewing, fishing, and baking cake for all occasions.  Ina enjoyed spending time with her family and caring for others.  She could fix a fence, switch out a light switch, and have a full meal with wonderful desserts all ready when her family and guests would arrive.  She always gave so much, never asking for anything in return.  She has touched so many hearts and we will miss those hugs and kisses and big smile.  You will forever be in our hearts.

Ina is survived by her friend, Lloyd Buckner of Rolla, MO; two sons, Rusty Howard and wife, Dolly of Lecoma, MO and Ronnie Howard and wife, Bunny of Bland, MO; parents, Roy and Pauline Cavaness of Licking, MO; brothers, Gary Cavaness and wife, Benita of Robertsville, MO and Garold Cavaness and wife, Kathy of Fenton, MO; sister, Betty Perkins and husband, Everett of Licking, MO; grandchildren, Lane Howard of Salem, MO, Evan Howard of Lecoma, MO, Anna Howard of Salem, MO, Lance Owens of Ft. Carson, CO, and Travis Owens of Union, MO; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
