Obituary of Alice Lynn Carignan

Alice was born February 15, 1965 in Houston, Missouri and entered her Heavenly Home on November 21, 2018 at Cox Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

 

Alice was Saved and Baptized in her early teens. She was baptized by Bro. Curtis Yarnell at the Pentecostal Holiness Church on Maple Avenue in Licking, Missouri.

 

Alice was the youngest daughter of Elmer Clarence and Bonnie Nadine (Smith) Lewis. Alice graduated from Licking High School in May of 1983.

 

Alice married Daryl Nels Carignan on June 30, 1984. They worked in the timber together, and in their spare time she enjoyed helping Daryl restore old vehicles. She loved being around family and babysat for her nephews and nieces when they were children. Alice and Daryl had no children of their own but loved to spoil the nephews and nieces.

 

Alice is survived by her loving husband, Daryl of Licking; her mother, Bonnie Lewis; brother, Kenny Lewis and wife Kelley; sister, Elaine Jones, all of Licking, and sister, Sharon Steiner and husband Dale of Montauk, Missouri; nine nephews and nieces, thirteen great-nephews and nieces, and one on the way. As well as a host of other family and friends.

 

Alice is preceded in death by her father, Elmer Lewis; brother-in-law, Mike Jones; grandparents, Tom and Hattie (Martin) Smith, and John and Laura (Walker) Lewis; one niece, Joni Lynnette, and a great-niece, Lynette Nicole.
