Obituary of Beverly James

Beverly James, Daughter of John and Bernice Lay, was born October 11, 1943 in St. Louis, MO. She departed this life February 15, 2015 in Springfield, MO. She was united in marriage to Donnie James on April 21, 1962 in Salem MO. Beverly Worked for 20 years at Rawlings in Licking MO. She then started her own business with her husband Donnie until retiring in 2000. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Wanda Crawford and Barbara Jean Lay. Beverly is survived by her husband Donnie, sons Donnie, Steve, Mike and daughter Sheila. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Jennifer, Perry, Christopher, Nicole, Austin and Emily; her brother John; son-in-law Donnie Hall; Daughter-in-law Debbie James; Ranell Wilson (who is just like a daughter-in-law); great-grandchildren Wyatt James and Emma Vestal, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Beverly loved cooking, gardening, fishing (especially in Canada), and spending time with her family. Beverly was a sweet, kind, loving woman and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
