Obituary of Harmon Counts
Please share a memory of Harmon to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Harmon (Curly) Counts was born April 11, 1940 and died Thursday February 5, 2015 at 74.
After serving in the United States Marine Corps, Curly and his wife Bobbi were married 44 years.
He had 'a way with words' and, although he didn't always know the right words to say, Curly
was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed being with his wife and seeing his
children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed classic cars, landscaping, cooking, BBQ's, and of
course watching NASCAR and WWE wrestling.
Curly accepted Christ shortly after moving to Licking, Missouri in 2002. Today we are full of
sorrow, but we know he is finally full of joy. Please join with us in rejoicing in his victory.
Curly is preceded in death by his parents, Anna Gertrude & Harmon Earnest Counts Sr., siblings
Patricia Ann Lubeck & Neal Counts.
He is survived by his siblings: Marcella Faulkner, William Counts, Nancy Johnson, Barbara Scott,
Daniel Counts; and his wife Roberta (Bobbi) Counts. His children include Rebecca, Tammy,
May, Kimberley, Michelle, Ladonna, Raymond, Ronald, Stanley & Lisa. His grandchildren
include: Caleb, Joshua and RhiAnna; Alex, Teija and Sydnee; Ashley; Brittany, Wyatt & Levi;
Jarrod, Savannah & Chase; and his mother-in-law, Betty McDaniel.
