Obituary of T. Jean Fraser

Please share a memory of T. to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Thelma Jean Fraser was born January 7, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Dorothy Dalton and her first husband, Lee Colonius. She passed away January 6, 2015, one day before her 64th birthday. She was known by all of her friends as Jean and her grandchildren as Nana. The grand and great-grand kids were her reason for getting up in the mornings. Jean and her husband, Jerry moved to Licking 15 years ago after retiring from Shop’N Save in St. Louis. They have been together for 30 great years, doing almost everything together with the family; vacations, fishing trips, going to the beach in Florida and Mississippi, one of the big things was weekend bbqs. She was always thinking of family and that is the reason she moved here, so that she could be close to her Mom, Dorothy Dalton and her Dad, George Dalton. Jean had a whole bunch of children and step-children, but to her they were all her kids; four girls and three boys, Jean Brueggeman, Kathern Sutton, Dawn Lay, Rhea Anderson, Kevin Fraser, Kelly Fraser, and Patrick Fraser; grandchildren, Krystal, Ashley, Christian, Nichols, Samantha, Kevin, Jr., Kristy, Arin, and Derrick; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Alex, Maddison, Emmalyn, Noah, Kaden and Mason; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and anyone else that called her Nana or Momma Jean. Another passion Jean had was music and she loved to dance, two-step or rock and roll made no difference. She had fun anytime music was playing. She would teach the little ones how to dance. Jean was a wonderful lady, everyone loved her; you couldn’t help it, she never met a stranger. Most of all, she loved her yard; planting flowers, bushes and unusual plants. She spent many hours tending to her garden that she called the circle. She had everything in that circle from roses to wild flowers and it was wonderful. She always had an old swing to sit in and watch all of her plants grow in the circle. She will be missed greatly by a whole lot of friends and family.
