DAVID QUENTIN DECKER WAS BORN APRIL 30,1930, ONE OF FIVE CHILDREN TO ALBERT AND GOLDIE
MAE (EDWARDS) DECKER AT ST. LOUIS, MO. HE WENT TO BE WITH THE LORD JANUARY 5,2015 AT HIS
HOME IN RAYMONDVILLE, MO, MAKING HIS AGE 84 YEARS, 9 MONTHS AND 6 DAYS.
HE WAS MARRIED TO BILLIE BARNES APRIL 30,1957 IN ST. LOUIS, MO AND TO THIS UNION TWO
CHILDREN, WERE BORN, DOUGLAS EDWARD AND SANDRA NADINE.
DAVID WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS PARENTS, ALBERT AND GOLDIE; ONE INFANT SISTER; ONE
BROTHER, EDWARD DECKER; AND ONE GREAT-GRANDDAUGHTER, MADISON DRENNEN; HIS FATHER-
IN-LAW AND MOTHER-IN-LAW, ABLERT AND NADINE NORD.
DAVID DID MANY THINGS DURING HIS LIFE TIME. WHILE WORKING AT MCDONALD AIRCRAFT HE
HELPED BUILD THE FIRST GEMINI MISSILE FOR SPACE. AFTER MOVING BACK TO LICKING HE FARMED
AND RAISED CATTLE; DID CUSTOM BAILING FOR PEOPLE, HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR, BUILDING
PONDS AND CLEARING LAND FOR PEOPLE IN AND AROUND THE LICKING AREA; DROVE A SCHOOL BUS
ONE YEAR; AND WORKED IN THE LOGGING INDUSTRY WITH HIS SON AND GRANDSONS. DAVID LOVED
TO HUNT AND THIS LAST DEER SEASON HE WENT HUNTING ON THE DONNA AND ANGELA DECKER
FARM. HE WAS A GREAT TEASE, ALWAYS TEASING HIS CHILDREN, GRANDCHILDREN AND GREAT-
GRANDCHILDREN AND EVEN TEASING THE NURSES IN THE HOSPITAL. DAVID WAS A WONDERFUL AND
LOVING HUSBAND, FATHER, GRANDFATHER AND GREAT-GRANDFATHER. HE WAS ALWAYS PUTTING
OTHERS BEFORE HIMSELF AND TO HIM THEY JUST NEVER GREW UP AND WERE ALWAYS HIS LlTTLE ONE.
HIS GRANDSON, CODY DRENNEN, CAME TO LIVE WITH HIM AND THEY WAS VERY CLOSE THROUGHOUT
THE YEARS AND TO DAVID HE WOULD ALWAYS BE "LlTTLE CODY".
DAVID LEAVES HIS WIFE OF 57 YEARS, BILLIE; HIS SON, DOUGLAS DECKER, HIS DAUGHTER, SANDRA
DECKER; SIX GRANDCHILDREN, DUSTIN (RACHEL) DECKER; COURTNEY (COREY) WILSON; CODY
(REBECCA) DRENNEN; KOLT (ASHLEY SMITH) DRENNEN; CLINTON (SABRINA) DRENNEN; JAMIE (CHAD)
MILLER, NINE GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: DAKOTA AND ALLIE DECKER; ETHAN AND ARYAN WILSON;
ARABELLA AND DALTON DRENNEN; ALEXA DRENNEN; MAKAYLA AND COOPER DRENNEN; FOUR STEP-
GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: CHARLIE PURSIFUL; TAYLOR, EMMA AND HAILEY BARTON; A COUSIN WHOM
HE RAISED, SHERRY (KENNY) MONCRIEF; THREE SISTERS, VIRGINIA GARBER; JUNE (HANK) HOFFMANN;
AND LAURA WILLIAMS, ONE SISTER-IN-LAW, MARGARET DECKER AND A HOST OF NIECES AND
NEPHEWS, FAIMILY AND FRIENDS WHO LOVED HIM. HE WILL ALWAYS BE MISSED AND LOVED.
