Obituary of Bradley Vincent North

Please share a memory of Bradley to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

What can you say about a man who was so many things to so many people? Born on August 18, 1971 to parents Richard Albert North and Rosalind Therese (Anania) North in St. Louis, Bradley Vincent North was followed by a sister, Jeanne North. He left this world on May 14, 2018.

Brad served in the US Army as a combat engineer in Iraq – Desert Storm, receiving commendation awards. When he returned home to Missouri, he enrolled in electrician school, became a Journeyman Electrician, and worked 18 years with the IBEW, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

He met his future wife, Marie Lasater, when she was working as a nurse at Barnes Hospital in 2007. They married in 2008, and were happily married for 10 years and one week. He enjoyed horseback riding with his wife, working in the garden, spending time with his grand-daughter, lifting weights, training his dog Badge, model trains, and volunteering in wide range searches, both rescue and recovery.

In 2009, Brad started his own electrical contracting business, North Wind Electric. His customers loved him for his excellent work and friendly demeanor, and the business was very successful.

In 2017, Brad was named Emergency Management Director for Texas County, and was making great strides in organizing the department. He had excellent people skills, and was able to organize large groups toward a common goal.

Brad was very concerned about Liberty and the direction our Country is heading, becoming a leader in the Missouri Defense Force, organized to act as a state defense force for the State of Missouri. The Missouri Defense Force members are all volunteers that have both the courage and determination to help their fellow Missourians in the time of need. Brad dedicated a great deal of time and energy to the organization, coordinating training and exercises.

He is survived by wife Marie, parents Rich and Rosalind North, sister Jeanne North, step-son Sean Shearing, and sweet granddaughter Riley Shearing, who dearly loved her Papa Brad.

Brad will be truly and sorely missed. Despite living in Licking for just 10 years, he has become a much loved and respected member of the community. Brad had a deep love for the Lord, and was a truly Godly man, never committing an unkind act in his entire time on this earth.

Memorial contributions may be made to Licking Ministerial Alliance in memory of Brad.
