Obituary of Donald Wayne Lavely, Sr.

Don Lavely, Sr. was born in Thayer, Missouri on February 28, 1947 to the late Walter and Ava (Honeycutt) Lavely.  He passed away September 12, 2017 at his home in Houston, Missouri with family and friends with him.

          Don married Barbara Sebastian and to this union, one son was born, Don Jr.

          Don worked as an Iron Worker for “BigBoy” Steel Construction, Inc. in St. Louis until his retirement.  He moved to Houston, Missouri to be near family.

          He loved working in his garden, going to the casino and being with family and friends.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

          Don was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Barbara , his son, Don, Jr.,two brothers Robert and Dean; three sisters-in-law Frances, Carolyn and Kay.

          He is survived by five brothers, Paul, Leon (Rhonda), James, Howard and Ike (Glenda); one sister, Ann (Gene) Marchbanks and a sister-in-law Ann Lavely.
