Grandpa Jim was one of a kind. Every day I was with him I knew it was going to be a great day. He knew how to make you feel like you were the only one in the room with him. They way he loved and cared for the people he came in contact with was so amazing. As a young boy, I couldn't have asked for a better grandpa. I'm thankful for the example he set in the way he loved my grandma and my mom. I hope one day I can be the man that Grandpa Jim was. I'll never forget going out to get hot dogs and ice cream cones growing up for lunch and waking up and making cinnamon rolls. I love you Grandpa!
