My deepest condolences to Britta's family and to her children. I went to Drury with Britta and counted her as a dear friend. I am heartbroken to hear of her passing. The most I can do is send prayers to her family.
Britta, you will be missed. Even though we had not talked since I left the area in 2011, you were a special friend that I will hold dear in my heart. I will miss you.

So so saddened by this news. I'm still in shock and can't believe she is gone. Britta was a really really sweet girl. I remember her well when I cooked at the school. I remember her playing basketball. She was such a young and sweet person. Prayers and condolences to Britta family and her children. It is such a hard thing to give up a child. May she Rest In Peace. I knew Britta from the RN school. Britta was always the one person who had a smile on her face and love in her heart! She always hugged everybody and told them it would be ok. Britta always talked about her babies she was such an amazing mama. Britta will be greatly missed. I know she is looking down smiling on us. Love you Britta!!

I went to elementary school with Britta. She was my first "girlfriend" - I bought her a stuffed bear and chocolates for Valentine's Day in seventh grade. Unfortunately I haven't kept up with her since elementary school, but I can share what I remember of her from that time.
I remember her as a sweet, intelligent, kind, and fiercely independent person. She had a brightness of spirit and an adamant will to be and live and do better for herself. The world is a sorrier place for the passing of that spirit. My heart goes out to her children and loved ones during this difficult time and I can only hope that some of her continues to live on and grow in them.
