Obituary of Laura Mae Poe

Laura Mae Poe, daughter of the late James Edward and Mary Etta (Obermark) Sullins, was born December 29, 1929 at Blythesville, Arkansas. She departed this life September 13, 2016 at Ozark’s Medical Center, West Plains, MO. She enjoyed coloring, playing the piano, sight- seeing, enjoyed watching the hallmark channel, loved her church and enjoyed the company of her bird, Pete. She was united in marriage to Truman Poe who preceded her in death. She was saved and baptized at Tulsa, Ok at the Oral Robert’s University when she was 55 years of age. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother: Eula Fay Sullins, Lois Sullins and Sunny Paul Sullins. She is survived by her daughter Francis Poe of Licking; sisters: Mabel Hildreth of Salem, Opal Sullins, Arreda Buckner and Judy Kinder all of Licking, MO, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
