My most sincere condolences to his family and Rita Carlock (who also, was family in essence). Doug was a great man, who wanted nothing more than to take care of the people he loved. He would give give his last anything to a friend in need. I regret not spending more time with him after his mobility suffered... I also hope that in his last days he could feel that Rita never left his side and the words my daughter and I said to him. I am thankful for his loyal service to our country and will always miss his friendship. I love you Doug, and we will miss you always.
