Anna May Smith was born on August 6, 1930, in Independence, MO to Eva Marie and Leroy Edgerton. Anna departed this life and went to be with the Lord her Savior on May 2, 2016, at

the age of 85.

On November 12, 1950, Ann married the love of her life, Lenzy E. Smith, Sr., to this union four children were born: Lenzy Jr., Patricia, Kenneth, and Charles.

Ann worked at Rawlings Sporting Goods for 19 years and retired in 1992. After retiring, Ann was able to devote her time to the things she enjoyed most including cooking, decorating cakes, and gardening. She loved being outdoors and took pride in her accomplishments and

beautiful flowers surrounding her home.

Her greatest love was spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Ann gave her life to Christ many years ago and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Ann's granddaughter Brandie lovingly cared for her the last 7+ years of her life. The family gives Brandie their greatest gratitude.

Ann is survived by her four children; son lenzy and wife Debbie of Licking, MO, daughter Patricia and husband Terry of Louisburg, MO, son Kenneth and wife Michelle of Licking, MO, and son Charles and wife Teresa of Licking, MO; two sister-in-Iaws, Opal Stevens of Michigan,

and Evelyn Edgerton of Iowa; 10 grandchildren, Debrina, Cassie, Tony, Kenneth G., Brandie, Melinda, Steven, Grace, Sarah, and Morgan; 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lenzy Smith; parents; Eva and Leroy Edgerton Sr.; three brothers; Buford, Donald and Leroy Jr., and five sisters; Helen, Betty, Mary, Eva Marie, and Dorothy; one brother-in-law Bob Stevens.

Her loving smile and love for her family and friends will be deeply missed.
