Obituary of Betty Jean Trout

Betty Jean Trout was born February 28, 1954 to Otis and Bobbie Jean (Brinkley) Tripp in Licking,MO. She went to be with the Lord on April 15,2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She accepted the Lord at an early age at the Licking Pentecostal Holiness Church. Betty was united in marriage to Jerry Lee Trout on May 21, 1972 at Beulah Baptist Church, Beulah,MO. To this union two children were born Misty Dawn and Donald Matthew. Betty was a caring and loving lady who enjoyed being around her family and friends. She enjoyed riding horses with her husband and she loved listening to Elvis Presley singing and doing cross stitching. As she got older she enjoyed her grandkids, watching them playing basketball, baseball and going to anything at school that involved her grandkids. Betty is preceded in death by her brother Warren Tripp; grandparents Otto Tripp, Zelma Poe, Warren and Mary Brinkley; very special uncle Howard Brinkley, father and mother-in-law Lee and Artie Trout;brother and sister-in-law Charles and Ethel Trout; sister and brother-in-law Gertie and Lawrence Mathis; brother-in-law Ben Trout. Betty is survived by her husband Jerry, daughter Misty (Brent Ullom), Sparta, MO, Donald (Jennifer Cardwell Trout) Licking, MO; grandkids: Ethan, Elijah, Ellie Ullom, Quinton and Levi Trout; step-granddaughter Aubrianah Ullom-Clinton (Randy); two step-granddaughters: Lakyn and Layah Clinton; parents Otis and Bobbie Jean Tripp; brother Kenneth (Barb) Tripp; sister-in-law Velma Trout, many nieces, nephews, but she had two that were very close to her Josh (Ambrea) Tripp and Jaime Tripp and their children were like grandkids to her, Justus Barred, Brinkley and Jessalyn Tripp and Jasper Rogers.
