Obituary of David John Heath

David John Heath, son of the late John William and Edna Marilla (Rich) Heath was born June 28, 1962 at Los Angeles, California and departed this life January 25, 2016 at Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, MO. He moved from California to Salem, MO in 1978 where he graduated from Salem High School in 1982. David was baptized September 16, 1984. He was married to Mary Maxey, to this union one son, Travis was born. He was united in marriage to Michelle Colvard on June 14, 2008. David worked for DBI Services for 15 years, and took pride in his job. He was a volunteer firefighter for Montauk, Licking, Edgar Springs and Raymondville. He loved to hunt and fish, go 4-wheel driving and mudding, singing karaoke and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister June Cullen, foster parents Willie and Eunice Burkhart; brother Ernie Stevens. He is survived by his wife Michelle of Licking; son Travis of Licking; step-daughters Katie Patterson and husband Joey of Salem, MO, Christina (Chrissy)Warner of Salem, MO; step-son Coby Warner JR and finance Jazz; three grandchildren Spencer Paul Heath, Tinsley Paje Heath and Paytyn Pauline Patterson, and one grandson, Delmar Ralph Warner, due in March; brothers Alwyn Cullen and friend Rose Bradshaw of Licking, John (Skip) Brown and Paula of Salem, Jimmy Cullen and Tronda of Mulberry, AR, Guy Cullen and Kelli of Bella Vista, AR, Earl Nelson of OK, Joe Stevens of CA, Stan Stevens of MO; sister Jackie Hollowell and Glen; sister-in-laws Kim Mondragon and significant other Kenny of Salem, MO, Chrystal Richardson and husband Todd of Licking, Julie Colvard of Licking, Susan Brooks and husband Charles of Mountain Grove; mother and father-in-law JB and Patricia Colvard of Licking, grandmother and grandfather-in-law, Victor and Bessie Sellars of Licking and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
