Debbie (Chitwood) Harris was born September 14, 1955 in Salem, Missouri to her parents, the late Beverly Flett and Dale Chitwood. After ten years of being together, she was united in marriage to Jack D. Harris of Edgar Springs, Missouri on September 3, 2000 at the First Baptist Church of Edgar Springs. She is survived by her husband, Jack of Edgar Springs; two children, Louie Hey and wife Tameka of Edgar Springs, and Jessica Hawk and husband Glenn of Loganville, Georgia; two granddaughters, Tynlee Hey and Breann Hawk; two sisters, Ruth Ann Demidow and Tina Ussery both of Salem, Missouri; father, Dale Chitwood of Mtn. View, Arkansas; her dear aunt, Loretta Southards and children of St. Peters, Missouri; several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends. Debbie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She adored her granddaughters, who brought so much joy to her life and filled so many of her days. She loved summer camping at Lake Ozarks with family and friends and traveling with her husband. Her family was her life and they, along with all who knew her; loved her sense of humor and her compassion towards others. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was a 1973 graduate of Salem High School and a member of the First Baptist Church of Edgar Springs, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Flett.
