Vergena (Jean) Louise Keaton, 79, passed away on January 30, 2013 at her home in Licking, Missouri. She was born on January 2, 1934 in Blooming Rose, Missouri to Claude and Inez (Lee) Ryno. Jean grew up in Blooming Rose and attended Licking High School in Licking, Missouri, after graduation she attended St. Charles Beauty College. Jean married Don Keaton June 2, 1951 in Hardy, Arkansas and they were happily married for 61 years. Jean was baptized at First Baptist Church of O’Fallon in O’Fallon, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Inez; one son, Eddie; three brothers, Bill, Arlie and Wendell; and one sister, Darlene. Jean is survived by her husband, Don of Licking, Missouri; her daughters, Donna (Gary) Lampert of O’Fallon, Missouri and Dottie (Harry) Hudnut of Licking, Missouri; a son, Doug (Melinda) Keaton of Earie, Kansas; her brothers, Howard (Caroline) Ryno of Evening Shade, Missouri and Harvey (Romona) Ryno of Licking, Missouri; her 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
