Obituary of Mabel M. Brown

Mabel M. Brown, daughter of the late Ed and Mary Marion, was born on August 29, 1920 in Hennessey, Oklahoma. She passed away on February 12, 2014 at her home in Sherrill, Missouri at the age of 93.
Mabel was united in marriage to Bryce Brown on May 5, 1941 at Salem, Missouri.
Mabel is survived by five children, Bessie Swinford and husband, Dale of Rolla, Missouri, Lloyd Brown of Licking, Missouri, Ed Brown of Charlack, Missouri, Donald Brown and wife, Pat of Licking, Missouri, Linda York and husband, Chris of Troy, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bryce; a sister and brother in-law, Georgena and Charley Duncan; a great-grandson, Casey Brown and a daughter in-law, Bonnie Lou Brown.
Mabel grew up attending Crow Chapel and Sherrill Community Church. In the 70’s she became a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, where she was a current member.
Mabel enjoyed her family, gardening, canning and working with her cattle on the family farm, where she grew up and she lived there until her death.
