Genevieve Wells was born on July 23, 1919 in Minot ND to Harry and Evalean Emigh. She went to be with our Heavenly Father on August 30, 2014. She grew up in Hutchinson, KS and attended school where she was neither absent nor tardy in 13 years of attendance. She worked at Kresses Dime Store where she worked the candy counter until she met her husband Victor W Wells. They were united in marriage November 3, 1942 in Hutchinson, KS. To this union was born four children. They moved to Wichita, KS where she was a homemaker until 1957. She was then employed at Dole Meat Packing Company. In 1963 her and her family moved to MO and started a dairy farm where she lived until her husband passed away. She moved to Licking in 1979. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Evalean Emigh; a sister, Vivian Hamilton; a brother, Harry Emigh; a grandson, Jimmy Ray Davis; and her husband, Victor. She is survived by her daughters Vicki Davis and husband Jim of Licking, Jackie James and husband Mike of Houston, and Kathy Bell of Houston and her son Stacy Wells of Licking. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great- grandchildren and 4 great- great grandchildren and a sister, Betty Arnold. Genevieve's hobbies were her grandchildren, babysitting them at every available moment. She was devoted to her children and her entire family. She will be missed greatly by all who loved her.
