Christopher Joseph Rector was born February 11, 1951 in Tokyo, Japan to Donald Lloyd and Carmella Ester (Capriglione) Rector. He departed this life on July 26, 2013. He leaves us to join his dearly departed parents, Donald and Carmella, his son, Donald, his wife Paula, and his niece Michelle. He is survived by his children Cheryl Schierhoss of St. Louis MO, Kristine Dobbs of Lakeland Florida, brother Pete of Licking, sister Leona Forest of Norfolk, VA, nephews Tom Rector of St Louis, Kyle Rector of Licking, and niece Amy Rector of Licking, grandchildren Zachary and Elizabeth of, St. Louis Missouri and Ricky, Rebekkah, and Ryan of Lakeland, Florida. Chris was raised a military brat and traveled the world until his father retired from the Army in 1968 when they moved to Licking. After graduating high school, Chris joined the Navy where he met his first wife Linda Johnston. This union was blessed with the arrival of his three children. After being discharged for the Navy, Chris returned to Missouri for several years and worked as a dispatcher for the Phelps County Sheriff's Department. He reenlisted in the Marines and spent the next 15 years serving his country. Upon returning home he worked as a home health care provider until his retirement, this where he met and married Paula. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Licking.
