Obituary of Joyce Ann Cook

Joyce Ann Cook, 67, of Licking, Missouri, passed away on October 17, 2016. Joyce was born in Licking, Missouri on November 22, 1948, to Melvin and Ruthene Cook. She graduated from Licking High School in 1966. Joyce worked as a Scheduler and IT Specialist at Ft. Leonard Wood for 31 years, retiring in 2007. After retirement, she worked at The Store and enjoyed making deliveries to students and teachers. She was a huge supporter of Licking Wildcat Athletics, enjoyed reading, and most of all loved spending time with her four grandsons. She also served the last seven years as a member of the Licking City Council. Joyce is survived by two daughters Joey (Billy) Roberts and Veronica (Randy) Gardner, four grandsons Cody Roberts, Cole Roberts, Trey Gardner, and Bennett Gardner, mother Ruthene Cook, two brothers Gary Cook and Denny Cook. Joyce was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Cook.
