Jacob Dean Ailer, age 63, passed away November 20, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri surrounded by family. Jacob was born January 6, 1962, in Ashland, Ohio to Alpha and Ruthie (Kiser) Ailer.
Jacob graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1980 before proudly serving in the US Navy where he was Hospital Corpsman Third Class. He enjoyed woodworking, numismatics, and spending time with his grandkids. He was also an amateur political commentator. Jacob will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
Jacob is preceded in death by his parents, Alpha and Ruthie Ailer; and siblings, Betty Sheaffer.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ailer; children, Tiffany Zamborsky (Dan Zamborsky), Alexander Ailer (Noga Ailer), and Megan Cooper (Jed Cooper); sister, Susan Hilbert; brother, Michael Ailer; and grandchildren, Eliya, Avi, Maya, and Talya.
A memorial service for Jacob will take place Sunday, November 23, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Central Baptist Church in Houston with Pastor Jerrod Spencer officiating. In loving memory of Jacob, memorial contributions may be made to Central Baptist Church Heritage Academy (payable to Central Baptist Church). Online condolences may be left at www.foxfh.net.
