Donna (Mavis) Crossgrove, age 75, daughter of Eugene and Mary (Spillman) Mavis was born October 17, 1950 in Kansas City, MO. She passed away November 15, 2025 at Phelps Health Hospital, Rolla, MO.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by sister, Stephanie York and husband Don of Osage Beach, MO; one brother, Ernie Mavis of Luquillo, Puerto Rico; son, Jeffrey Crossrove and wife Melissa of Duke, MO; son, Jared Crossgrove and wife Angel of Licking, MO; grandchildren, Roger Crossgrove, Gabriel Crossgrove, Keely Gray, Reese Crossgrove, Abigail Crossgrove, Adam Crossgrove and Emilia Crossgrove; four great-grandchildren; and a niece and nephew.

Donna loved gardening and was a wonderful quilter, she loved making quilts for her children. Anyone who saw her work regarded it as a gift, knowing it was made with love and care.

Donna loved her children and grandchildren and never met a baby she couldn’t sing and pat to sleep. Donna lived for Sunday dinners with her family, cooking and spending the day playing games.

Donna will be missed by all who knew her!

A memorial gathering for Donna will take place Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Fox Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Licking United Methodist Church in loving memory of Donna.
