Judy Kay Lane Obituary

Judy Kay Lane, 79, of Duke, Missouri, left us peacefully on October 24, 2025, surrounded by family at her home. A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Judy will always be remembered for her love of family, gardening with her husband, the joy it gave her being with her grandchildren and the enjoyment it brought her from family and friends stopping by just to visit.

Born on June 7, 1946 in Licking, Judy was the daughter to the late William (Bill) Obermark and Bytha (Richards) Obermark. Judy grew up in Licking with three brothers and four sisters.

On April 24, 1965, Judy was united in marriage to Ronnie Lane. The two shared over 60 years of marriage where they were blessed with two children and two grandchildren.

Judy devoted her career to the postal service where she served the Duke community as the Postmaster for thirty years.

Judy is survived by her husband, Ronnie Lane; son, Ronald Lane (partner Kenneth Consolver); daughter, Diana Babb (husband Glenn); and her two grandchildren, Bryan Babb (wife Jessica), and April Babb.
