Obituary of Edna Mae Linson

Edna Mae Linson (Stewart) age 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 1, 2025, at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe Kansas. She was born August 13, 1945, in Licking, MO to Fred and Lou Ann (Mayberry) Stewart. She was a 1963 graduate of Licking High School. She married Roger Steve Linson on July 9, 1966, in Licking, MO. They lived most of their married life in and raised their children in Independence, MO. They lived the last 14 years in their home in Springfield, MO. Edna moved to Olathe, Kansas to be closer to her daughter, Angela Ryan, after her cancer diagnosis. She enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger and her son Nicholas. She is survived by her children, Roger Allen and Pam Linson of West Virginia; Kenneth Linson of Springfield, MO; Angela and Kevin Ryan of Overland Park, KS. Edna was dearly loved, and will be sadly missed by her family, as well as by her four grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Edna will take place Friday, May 9, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Fox Funeral Home.
