Obituary of Alvin Eugene Taylor

Alvin Eugene Taylor, age 83 of Licking, MO passed away Friday, January 31, 2025. He was born November 30, 1941 in Licking to Sherman “Roy” and Helen Taylor.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Helen Taylor; brothers, Lonnie and wife Judy Taylor, Tom Taylor, David and Mary Ann Taylor, and Teddy Taylor.
Alvin is survived by his wife, Glenna Taylor; sons, Michael and wife Kim, Mark and wife Kathy; grandchildren, Anthony and wife Marla, Allen and wife Rebecca, Aaron and wife Tiffany, Abbie Wheeler and husband Dustin; great-grandchildren, Bryleigh, Glenna, Peyton, McKinzie, Wyatt, Arya, Brody, Tia, Teagen, Emiline, Keighlie, Kylynn, Luke, and Baby L; brothers, Roy and wife Connie, and Jim and wife Donna; and sisters-in-law, Marlene and Mary.
Alvin enjoyed singing and playing his guitar, being with family, fishing and hunting. He was a member of the New Life Free Will Baptist Church and had a strong conviction of his Christian faith. Alvin was in management positions for Rawling Sporting Goods and others.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Licking Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Licking Cemetery maintenance fund.
