Obituary of Eula May Fudge

Please share a memory of Eula to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Eula Mae Fudge, (May) was born May 24, 1953 in Salem, MO, to Claudius Bernard Fudge, Sr. (CB or Claude), and Frances Marie (Fielder) Fudge and went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2016. Eula grew up on the original 1855 homestead with her three brothers and two sisters, running and playing from dawn to dusk through the hills and forests of the farm. Eula was a very caring and loving person so being a registered nurse was a perfect career choice for her. She graduated from Burge School of Nursing in 1974 and went on to a full career at various local hospitals and nursing facilities throughout the years. She retired from nursing in 2011. In her past time, Eula enjoyed crocheting afghans and doilies, giving away much of work as gifts. She also loved rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals and #24 Jeff Gordon. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and aunt. She dearly loved her children and they loved her. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Although she will miss the birth of her latest grandson Lucas, in person in November, she will certainly witness the event from Heaven, where she resides eternally with the Lord. Eula was preceded in death by both of her parents; her older brother, William (Billy); and her sister, Ivy Wade and her husband Dwain Wade; and her nephew, Bradley Floyd. Eula is survived by her daughter, Angel and husband Scott Richardson; their children, Sierra, Cheyanne, Lexi, Annabeth, and Lucas who will be joining the family in November; her son Travis Fudge and wife Jeannie and their children, Trinton Stewart, Faith Mayberry, Chassis and Francis Fudge; her brother, Robert Fudge and Connie Conway; her brother Bernie Fudge and wife, Karla; her sister Jan (Fudge) and husband Joe Barnes; nieces Aneta Atkinson; Christina Thompson and husband Jeff Thompson; Anna (Barnes) and husband Matt Patterson; Jessie Barnes; and Rachel Ash-Lamparter; and several grand nieces and nephews; as well as countless friends and co-workers, many of whom called her “Mom”. Throughout her long battle with cancer, which was in remission, and the complications following chemotherapy, Eula always had a positive attitude. You would not know from her attitude and manner how sick and hurting she was. She knew she was in God's hands, whatever she had to go through.
